Minion Rush is a PC and mobile action game based on the Despicable Me franchise. House of the Dragon: DracARys
Even though it’s not a game, House of the Dragon: DracARys is worth mentioning as the app lets mobile users raise and train their own dragon on their phone. The app was developed by HBO in promotion of its new series House of the Dragon, which is the prequel to Game of Thrones. The show follows the Targaryen dynasty when they ruled the Iron Throne, which, as per ExpressVPN’s Targaryen family infographic, was before House Baratheon replaced them. The dragons that players raise through the app are brought to life using augmented reality technology; it is available on iOS and Android mobile devices.
Hotel Transylvania 2
Developed by Sony Pictures Animation, Hotel Transylvania 2 is the movie’s official mobile game available on iOS and Android mobile devices. Players can create their own monster hotel and customize their villages. The building game features all of the main characters from the movie.
Lara Croft Go
Lara Croft Go is a turn-based puzzle game based on the Tomb Raider franchise. Players control the franchise’s protagonist Lara Croft, and the puzzle game becomes progressively more complex as the player moves forward. In 2015, Lara Croft Go was voted the best mobile/handheld game of the year at The Game Awards. It was also selected as the best iPhone game that year.
Many movies and TV characters can easily be translated into the gaming world, which is why we see so many game adaptations of shows and films like The Simpsons and Hotel Transylvania.
