It has been the revelation series of the season -with permission from The White Lotus, Clear. We talk about The Bearan authentic series jewel available in Disney+ that has conquered the whole world and of which you are probably wondering when its second season will be released -because yes, there will be a new installment in which to continue seeing how things are going for “Carmy” and her team.
The Bear, quite a surprise
At this point in the film it is difficult to innovate on the small and big screen. Virtually all the topics have been covered and from all possible perspectives, so when a series arrives with the format of The Bear much appreciated. In case you haven’t seen it -something we highly recommend you do-, Christopher Storer’s production takes place practically inside the kitchen of a modest restaurant in Chicago. The business, a real disaster in many ways, is the inheritance that Carmen, the protagonist, has received from her recently deceased brother.
«Carmy» leaves her position in the best restaurant in the world in New York in this way to enter this disastrous place, all at a tremendously accelerated pace -seriously, it is quite stressful, especially if you see it in VOSE-, with a Fantastic script and performances more than up to par. So much so that the main actor, Jeremy Allen Whitehas just won the Golden Globe for best actor in a musical or comedy – let’s say The Bear it is a dramatic comedy, to be really faithful to its content.
The original series, by the way, is not from Disney+. threw it fx last year and although it generated a lot of noise in the USA, in Spain it was not known at all. It has not exited until it has reached the catalog of the platform when it has pasted the boom in our country, becoming the series that everyone was talking about just a couple of months ago.
When is the second season?
If you are one of those who also joined the fever The Bear and you wonder when the second season will be released, we already have a first indicative date. During the FX panel within the framework of the Television Critics Association, it has been confirmed that the series will return this summer 2023 and that the season will be made up of 10 episodes. The first installment had 8 chapters, each lasting about 30 minutes on average -which makes it very comfortable to consume, by the way.
If we take into account that last year, FX also premiered in the summer (June 23, 2022, to be more exact) and that it landed on Disney+ on October 5, we could wait a similar movement for this second round, with a debut in the US on similar dates and an arrival in Spain through the aforementioned streaming service by the end of September or the beginning of October.
