Pervasive Technologies has recruited a new Senior Data Scientist, Aaron Montero, to your team of professionals. Aaron has a degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Subsequently, he completed two master’s degrees in Computer Engineering (Polytechnic University of Madrid) and Automotive and Robotics (Polytechnic University of Catalonia). Also, he has the PhD in Computer Engineering, conducted at the Polytechnic University of Madrid from which he graduated with honors (Cum Laude and international mention).
Montero, passionate about artificial intelligence, dedicated the first part of his professional career to research in the computer engineering sector. After completing this stage, he specialized in the area of data science within the business sector.
Before joining Pervasive Technologies, he worked at Chemotargets (Barcelona) as data scientist. There, as part of his work, he carried out functions such as the development of machine learning models to determine the best chemotherapy treatment in cases of Neuroblastoma and DPIG, estimation of the evolution of adverse drug reactions and prediction of drug toxicity in the 2nd Ames/QSAR International Challenge Project. In turn, he worked as a data scientist at the IIIA-CSIC research center (Autonomous University of Barcelona) where he carried out a project for the development of an imaging embryo classification model based on deep learning to improve the success of implantation.
