Aeon Flux: The series is alive and well and, now, is from Paramount +

There live action series from Aeon Flux it was announced more than three years ago and, until today, we did not know what its fate had been (also considering the pandemic which, as we all know, has canceled numerous Hollywood projects).

Jeff Davis returns to talk about the Aeon Flux live action series

We find out that the series, whose showrunner will be Jeff Davis (Teen Wolf), will no longer arrive on MTV as originally scheduled, but will instead debut on the platform of Paramount +, with whom Davis announced that he had made a deal.

Unfortunately, however, the information regarding the Aeon Flux series ends here. In fact, no further developments of the show have been disclosed, nor the possible launch window of the same.

What we do know is that the series will always be produced Gale Anne Hurd, producer of the 2005 film based on the story of a sexy secret agent from 7698, very skilled in acrobatics and murder. His goal is to infiltrate the strongholds of the nearby town of Bregna, a police state ruled by his nemesis (but also lover) Trevor Goodchild.

It is not clear, however, if the series will bring the story of the film starring Charlize Theron to the small screen or, instead, we will see the events of the character created by Peter Chung for the anime.
