Agreement between Oracle, APTE and PTA to approach startups

Oracle, the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) and Malaga TechPark (PTA) have signed an agreement to promote innovation within the Spanish business fabric. through the program Oracle for Startupsthe nearly 900 companies that are part of both organizations will have free access to Oracle’s cloud technology, as well as other resources such as mentoring, workshops and technical support.

The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) is a non-profit association whose main objective is to collaborate, through the promotion and dissemination of science and technology parks, to the renewal and diversification of productive activity, to technological progress and to economic development. For its part, Málaga TechPark (PTA) has become a pole of attraction for innovation and technological development in southern Europe. Both organizations will act as multiplier agents to bring cloud technology to the main startups in our country.

In the words of Felipe Romera, general director of PTA and president of APTE, “By participating in the Oracle for Startups program, startups and entrepreneurs belonging to APTE’s science and technology parks will be able to launch their ideas and projects on the market with integration teams, communication media and a global portfolio of clients interested in knowing these new projects.

For its part, Albert TriolaCEO of Oracle Spain, has indicated: “Cloud technology has been key to the survival of our business fabric for the last two years, and is serving as a lever to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of our companies and institutions. This agreement with APTE and PTA will allow us to bring this technology to companies that are pure innovation, our startups, with the aim of helping them scale their businesses to the next level”.

The collaboration will kick off with a virtual meeting on April 25 at 11:00 a.m., in which the advantages of the Oracle for Startups program and success stories of startups that have developed highly innovative solutions based on the Oracle cloud will be presented. .
