Spotahome consolidates its management leadership with four new senior positions

The medium and long-term rental platform has announced four C-Level appointments that consolidate its management leadership, after a few years of restructuring and adaptation to the post-pandemic market: COO, CTPO, CFO and CPO.

“This is recognition of the trust placed in them, to provide them with greater freedom, autonomy and responsibility in long-term decisions in the company. It means consolidating Spotahome’s structure around these four key positions that allow the company to continue growing”it states Alejandro Artacho, CEO and co-founder of Spotahome. «His extensive experience and vision will represent a decisive step in the future of the company, at all strategic levels: business, profitability, talent, cutting-edge products and services”.

Last year, the company closed with a volume of 200 million euros in rental management. Currently, Spotahome is focused on consolidating the business in the more than 100 cities in which it is present between Europe and Dubai and in offering better services to the owners.

New Spotahome management structure

As COO (Chief Operating Officer), appoints Eduardo Garbayo who has been linked to the company since 2019 as general manager for Spain and Portugal and head of Business and Operations. Now, with more than 17 years of accumulated professional experience, he will be in charge of leading the company’s strategy, optimizing its processes in order to maximize resources to guarantee Spotahome’s leadership position in the proptech sector.

Jorge Alonso will be the new CTPO (Chief Technology and Product Officer). His appointment occurs to lead the creation of products and services with which to strengthen the confidence of tenants and property owners. At Spotahome since 2018, Alonso has accumulated 23 years of experience and has led different areas of software, product and data engineering since he joined the company. Until his appointment, he has led the Engineering, Product and Marketing department as Vice President.

Roberto García Cerrada will occupy the position of CFO (Chief Financial Officer) in order to lead the financial area of ​​the startup in Spain, after more than two years as VP of Finance and with more than 20 years of work experience. Garcia will focus on the economic and financial planning of the company.

Lisa Porres will be the new Chief People Officer (CPO) of the company, leading the Human Resources area from a more strategic approach for the different markets of Spotahome. Prior to her appointment, Lisa has more than 15 years of professional career and has held the position of HR Business Partner for the markets of Spain, Portugal, Italy and Belgium and later became Head of Human Resources.
