Alan Wake 2 PC requirements and launch price, it will be cheaper on PC

Remedy hasn’t confirmed the requirements for Alan Wake 2 for PC yet, but thanks to a leak we’ve been able to see quite a credible list which includes both the minimum and recommended requirements. It is important that you keep in mind, before going to see them, that this game is going to be exclusive to Xbox Series X-Series S, PS5 and PC, which means that It’s going to be more demanding than intergenerational transition titles.

On the other hand, it must also be borne in mind that Alan Wake 2 will be an Epic Games Store exclusivealthough it is not clear if it will be total or temporary. The second would be ideal, because it means that we can also buy it on Steam within a period of 6 months and a year. Patience, in the end this type of exclusives are nothing new, we are already used to them, unfortunately. That being said, we are going to see what hardware we will need to be able to play this title on PC.

Alan Wake 2 Minimum Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit.
  • Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i5-8400 (six core) CPU.
  • 12GB GB of RAM.
  • GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card with 8 GB of graphics memory.
  • DirectX 12.

With this configuration we should be able play well in 1080p, whenever we adjust the level of graphic quality. As I told you at the beginning of the article, this information adds up quite well, although in the end it is very likely that the game will also work with slightly lower configurations.

  • 16GB GB of RAM.
  • GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 6600 graphics card with 8 GB of graphics memory.

This hardware should be enough to move the game fluently in 1440p, and the truth is that it is quite reasonable considering the current times, and that today we can buy a Radeon RX 6600 for just over 200 euros.

Alan Wake 2 release date and price

It is officially confirmed that Alan Wake 2 will hit the market on October 17, and it will be a simultaneous release on all the platforms that we told you about at the beginning of this article. The console version will be priced at €59.99which means that Epic Games Publishing has not jumped on the bandwagon of 70 euros.

The PC version will be available through the Epic Games Store at a price of 49.99 euros, that is, it will be ten euros cheaper than the console version. This is good news for PC gamers who, for the moment, continue to enjoy cheaper games in many cases.
