From Parasites to The Squid Game. South Korean productions are gaining more and more weight internationally and from Apple they want to add to this by premiering their own Korean series. It is true that beyond the coincidence of the region of origin, his new series has little to do with the one that triumphs on Netflix, but it has good ingredients to be a great production. This is Dr. Brain, Apple’s first Korean series
The new Apple series was commissioned in March of this year and is now completely ready. His name is Dr. Brain and it stars actor Lee Sun-kuyn, known for having a role in the aforementioned film Parasites, which won up to 6 Oscars in 2020. But it also has other lesser-known actors at the level. such as Lee You-Young, Seo Ji-hye, Park Hee-soon or Lee Jae-won. All produced, directed and written by filmmaker Kim Jee-woon.
The Serie will premiere its first chapter on November 3 at 11:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time, that is, next Wednesday. Then it will issue a new chapter every Friday from November 12, ending on December 10 and being composed of a total of 6 episodes.
The series as such, called Dr. Brain, is based on a comic published on the internet that has become very popular around the world and has Hongjacga as its title. A series of Science fiction that investigates the experiences of an expert in neuroscience who is obsessed with new technologies, although everything in his life changes after suffering a mysterious accident that leads him to have the memories of his wife.

Although the original version of this series will be broadcast in Korean, it is clear that except in South Korea, few people speak Korean. In fact, the series is made precisely because of the imminent arrival of various company services to this country. However it will be available with dubbing into a multitude of languages among which is Spanish and also with Subtitle in many others.
