The new Beelink GTR equipment is presented as a new range of very compact mini PCs, with a careful design that fits seamlessly into any professional environment, and is equipped with a very powerful hardware configuration, thanks to the use of AMD Ryzen 9 series APUs.
The configuration of the Beelink GTR5 is undoubtedly the most powerful, and the most interesting, since this computer comes with a Ryzen 9 5900HX APU, a chip that has a CPU of 8 cores and 16 threads, and has an integrated Radeon graphics solution that adds 512 shaders. This means that it is capable of parallelizing demanding workloads, has a high IPC, thanks to the use of the Zen 3 architecture, and its integrated GPU offers performance comparable to that of a low-end dedicated graphics card.
The Beelink GTR4, by contrast, uses a more modest configuration, as it comes equipped with a Ryzen 9 4900H, a chip that maintains the APU-like approach, which means that it integrates CPU and GPU. The processor uses the Zen 2 architecture, and adds 8 cores and 16 threads, while the integrated graphics maintains the 512 shaders, but running at a lower frequency.
Both models are priced at $ 889 and $ 789. We do not know the sale price at the exchange rate, but after applying VAT and making a direct conversion we see that it could cost 952 euros and 845 euros, respectively.
Taking a look at the external finish, it must be recognized that the Beelink GTR have a very careful design, and a very careful build quality. Both models also have a fingerprint reader, and have a wide range of connectors:
- Two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet.
- One HDMI output.
- Two USB Type A 2.0.
- Three USB Type A 3.0.
- A USB Type C.
- A DisplayPort.
- A 3.5 mm jack.
They also feature Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless connectivity, and can be purchased pre-configured with up to 32GB of 3,200MHz DDR4 RAM and a 500GB SSD. That configuration can be expanded without problem to a maximum of 64 GB of RAM, and we have space to mount up to three storage units, two of type M.2 and one of 2.5 inches. They will be available from November 24.
