Chucky: from SDCC 2021 the first trailer of the SyFy TV series

The first trailer of Chucky, the killer doll horror series made for SyFy, was released in these hours on the occasion of Comic-Con @ Home 2021.

At the end of a panel with the creator of the franchise, Don Mancini along with Brad Dourif (the iconic killer doll “in person”), Jennifer Tilly (Tiffany), Fiona Dourif (Nica), Alex Vincent (Andy Barclay) and Christine Elise (Kyle), the new trailer debuted showing high school student Jake picking up the doll at a flea market and taking it home.

Being a fan of all things retro, Jake quickly began to realize that something is wrong with Chucky but, with the doll promising him to be friends to the end, the isolated and bullied Jake grows up with a particular attachment. to the same. Soon, however, bodies fall everywhere Jake goes and it’s no surprise that the doll is the one wielding the knife.

Chucky is described as a new take on the beloved franchise, which will explore the character with depth offered uniquely by the unreleased format of the television series. The series will expose Chucky’s past and the untold origins of the demon doll as a seemingly normal child, who somehow became this infamous monster.
