Diablo Immortal: the game postponed to 2022

Diablo Immortal, the free to play chapter for mobile of the famous series of Blizzard, will not see the light before 2022, due to some improvements to the gaming experience that are slowing its development.

Announced in 2018, the release of the limited number alpha version has increased the hype around the game, with the community waiting to get their hands on the new RPG.

The release of Diablo Immortal postpones to 2022

An update released by Blizzard Entertainment announced that Diablo Immortal was postponed to 2022. With the first chapter released in 1997, the series reached its third game in 2012, only to announce the development of Diablo 4 2 years ago.

The announcement of Diablo Immortal, free-to-play version for mobile of the famous RPG, instead took place in 2018, with fans who first welcomed the news negatively, and then it became one of the most anticipated titles by the community.

Now Blizzard has stated that the game will arrive in 2022 and the motivation for this shift is to be attributed to some substantial improvements in the game. The software house is committed to creating better Player vs Player gameplay and extended Player vs Environment gameplay at the end of the game. In addition to this, the support of the controller and the progression of the character are also elements that are slowing down the development of the game.

We will therefore have to wait until next year to return to fighting evil in the various dungeons, trying to upgrade our character as much as possible to carry out the most difficult missions. Self Diablo Immortal will not arrive before 2022, for Diablo 4 we will have to wait until at least 2023, notwithstanding Blizzard has not yet set an alleged release date.

The Diablo franchise never ceases to thrill millions of fans, thanks to its fantastic style and well-structured and satisfying gameplay. The hope is that the further wait will allow Blizzard to make a game worthy of the name, both for consoles and PCs and for mobile.
