Everything ready for CES 2023, the world’s largest technology fair

Everything is ready in Las Vegas for the start of CES 2023, the largest technology and consumer electronics fair on the annual calendar, which will be held this year from 5 to 8 January and with the desired return to the general physical presence as the first incentive. As every year, at MC you will have extensive coverage that we have already started with previous announcements and that you can see in this special tag.

CES is organized by the US consumer technology corporation, Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and is held in various venues in the city of Las Vegas including the Convention Center and the World Trade Center as the main ones. Among all of them, it offers a huge electronic product exhibition space, as well as conferences, workshops or special activities for those segments that want to make their way in these large fairs.

CTA expects to recoup a good part of the huge numbers achieved in years prior to the COVID pandemic and more than 3,100 exhibitors, 173 countries represented and 4,700 registered media that will take the information of what happens there to the whole world. There are no figures for potential attendees. The 180,000 professionals of 2020 will not be reached, but the great fair is on the mend.

Everything ready for CES 2023

What do we expect from CES 2023?

In addition to the relative “return to normality” that physical presence implies and a conference program that includes dozens of sessions, the strong point of the event will continue to be the presentation and exhibition of technological product with a good number of categories (classic and new), from PCs to wearables, going through the news that comes from Artificial Intelligence and robotics; audio and video; networks and 5G; 3d print; smart houses; wireless devices and services; virtual / augmented reality technologies or an automotive section that focuses on technological advances

CES 2023 recovers a good number of manufacturers for the cause and, for starters, we have to highlight the main conferences of Intel (Raptor Lake processors that are yet to be released as the main claim), the same as AMD with the new Ryzen 7000. NVIDIA it will also offer a keynote to present the rest of the dedicated graphics of the RTX 4000 series.

Taking advantage of these developments, we will see a lot of new personal computers (especially laptops) from the greats of the PC sector: Lenovo, HP, Dell, ASUS, Acer and MSI as main, although there are scheduled announcements of others such as GIGABYTE, Razer or Samsung. CES is also usually the presentation event for the new generation of display screens and we will see TVs from LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL, Philips and others, as well as monitors from AOC, iiyama, LG, Samsung and all manufacturers.

There will be no shortage of novelties in wearable electronic devices (wearables); accessories, peripherals and furniture with Gaming as the protagonist; audio and video products; of networks; virtual and augmented reality; novelties in home automation and smart houses; robotics and drones and, although it is not a preferred sector at CES because the MWC fair comes after it, we will also see some mobile phones and tablets.

We have already started the coverage of this CES 2023 weeks ago with leaks and previews, and we will continue with it this week because the presentations to the media will take place before the fair opens its doors, tomorrow and the day after with the aforementioned Intel, AMD and NVIDIA. We have advanced information to offer you and it will be very interesting, with novelties that will set the pace of product launches for the first semester. Do not miss it!
