Salamanca will once again be the great world capital of technological entrepreneurship and innovation. In the VIII edition of Startup OLÉ 2022 it is already confirmed the participation of more than 700 speakers and about 160 startups (more than 40 of them from Castilla y León). The total estimate of attendees to the event already exceeds 2,000 people.
The world entrepreneurship summit will start next Monday and will run until Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Like other years, the event has the support of public institutions, corporations, investors, startups, freelancers, SMEs, universities, science parks, business schools and accelerators, with networking being one of the main attractions of the event.
The work sessions will take place over three days in the Hospedería Fonseca, the Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca and the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Castilla y León. The program is practically outlined and the activities will include round tables, pitch competitions, startup fairs, business rounds between startups, SMEs, freelancers with corporations and investors from around the world (matchmaking) and networking activities.
Startup OLÉ 2022, as in previous editions, will have a networking platform, which will allow attendees to connect and schedule meetings, promoting networking, allowing each of those registered to connect based on their interests, verticals and technologies. The meetings may be held in person or through videoconferences, which strengthens the generation of synergies.
Another attraction of the program will be the concerts that will be held, which will provide a cultural addition of special interest to an event with a marked technological nature, favoring contact and business rounds among the attendees. Picoco’s group will perform his best songs in the concert that he will offer on the night of Monday, September 5 at the Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca, a concert sponsored by Huawei Europe.
Among the extensive list of entities that have joined Startup OLÉ is Junior Achievement Foundationwhich focuses its activity on training young entrepreneurs, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), which promotes innovation and technological excellence.
