Ferrovial will build the new Microsoft data center in Spain

But also the search for new forms of construction for the optimization of Microsoft data centers, as well as the development of initiatives and technological solutions that allow those from Redmond to advance in Spain towards sustainable development and a future of net zero emissions as well. in the construction and management of its infrastructures.

Very strict sustainability criteria have been followed for the design of the data center, which will also be observed during its construction. That is why it has the Leed Gold certification, granted by the Green Building Council. Among other things, this future Microsoft data center in Spain has among its goals the achievement of a significant reduction in energy consumption. Also in CO2 emissions compared to other traditionally designed and managed data centers.

This data center is not the first built by Ferrovial Construcción. Until now he has already developed and worked on several projects of these characteristics for various companies. Among them are Telefónica and various companies in the finance sector.
