The Japanese video game company announced in these hours that it will work closely with Cyber Group Studios, the Paris-based animation studio, for the development and co-production of this exciting new project.

Unfortunately, the information regarding the new series stops here, with Pierre Sissmann, CEO of Cyber Group Studios, who explained in an official note that the company’s goal is to start production on the show by the end of 2021 or, at the latest, early 2022.

With over 150 million copies sold worldwide, the Final Fantasy franchise is poised to expand further into new media, leaving behind a photorealistic feature entirely generated in CGI, the first of its kind.
