Improve audio on your PC thanks to these Trust sound bars

Trust presents us with a new soundbar, under the name GXT 620 Axon, which has similar characteristics to the GXT 619 Thorne launched a few months ago from the same brand, which we have also reviewed in this article. Both are input products and therefore do not expect to have high quality sound with them, but it can be said that they meet without problems for the vast majority of users.

Nowadays, PCs are usually sold without any type of audio capabilities and in the case of some gaming laptops the quality of their speakers leaves much to be desired, which is why a speaker system or a sound bar like the ones that They deal with us are of great help if you are one of the people who does not mind sharing with others what they hear at all times.

Before focusing on each of these two models, we must clarify that nothing other than speakers and therefore do not support audio input of any kind, so you will not be able to use it as a hands-free system to be able to talk with third parties. Although as a positive point and although Trust does not inform us of this, it is possible to connect both the GXT 620 Axon and the GXT 619 Thorne to current video game consoles, specifically to the mini Jack that have their control knobs, but for this we recommend that you use an extender if you don’t want to drop the soundbar on the ground.

This Trust soundbar has RGB lighting in rainbow format on its sides, having in one of them the volume control that allows us to adjust the volume. The GXT 620 offers stereo sound through its two speakers with an output power ranging from 6 W (RMS) to 12 W (peak), with the classic response frequency between 20 and 20,000 Hz and a 10,000 ohm input impedance and 4 ohm input impedance. In edge, its measurements are 68 mm in height, 420 mm in width and 78 mm in depth. All this in a unit that weighs 590 grams. For the power supply it uses a USB connection.

Regarding its compatibility, it is clear that using the most universal sound port of all, any device that has this audio output can be connected. In principle they are designed for PC, but you can make use of them on your screen if it has 3.5 mm audio output or by the method that we have described in the introductory paragraphs of this article.

The second soundbar that Trust presents to us is the GXT 619 Thorne, a model that was already available on the market, but they have decided to relaunch it and which stands out for its small size, since it is designed to occupy the Less desktop space without sacrificing audio quality. Unlike the previous model, the volume control is on the front and we can control the color that its LED lights reproduce, which are on the bottom of the unit. Regarding its measurements, we find that this sound reproducing unit has a height of 70 mm, a width of 400 m and a depth of 75 mm. His weight? 700 grams in total.

For audio reproduction, the GXT 619 has a peak power of 12 W and a RMS of 6 W that come from a pair of internal speakers with a diameter of 40 mm with an impedance of 4 Ohms. The response frequency ranges from 20 to 20,000 Hz and its input impedance is 10,000 ohms.

If we already talk about its compatibility, this sound bar can be connected, it can be connected to any device that has an audio output designed for a 3.5 mm mini Jack. So, as with the GXT 620 Axon, you will not be able to use it in current video game consoles directly using an HDMI port, although there are methods to obtain the sound. This is not the only similarity between the two soundbars, as they are both powered through a standard connection.
