JBL unveils a host of new products for spring

JBL takes advantage of CES to present many new products, for use by music lovers, party animals and gamers.

JBL is a regular at CES. The firm makes a point of unveiling many products at each show in Las Vegas, this 2022 edition is no exception. This year’s vintage is particularly tempting, since each of the wireless headphones presented promises to adapt to many situations. Back to JBL’s announcements.

This is a first for the JBL Live Pro range. The second iteration of the brand now incorporates adaptive noise reduction, which has become legion in the wireless headphone sector in recent years. The pair of headphones also includes Smart Ambient functions, for getting around town safely, for example. The different modes also make it possible to communicate without having to remove the devices. Under the hood, the JBL Live Pro 2 integrates six microphones for better quality during calls. They are also equipped with 11mm speakers, with the JBL Signature Sound of course.

Side autonomy, it will be necessary to count on 40 hours of listening thanks to the housing and 10 hours with headphones alone. A quick 15 minute charge will give you up to 4 hours of listening time, a way for those who are impatient to enjoy their favorite playlists for longer. Also note that the devices are certified water and sweat resistant (IPX5 rating).

The JBL Live Pro 2 will be released in spring 2022 in blue, black and white. They are displayed at 149 euros.

The JBL Quantum TWS for gamers

If headsets are still the favorite devices of gamers, JBL intends to change their mind with these Quantum TWS in-ear headphones. Associated with the JBL Quantum SURROUND sound, they promise total immersion and a smaller footprint. They integratet six spatially filtered microphones to ensure clear conversations with teammates. To reduce latency to a minimum, JBL is also announcing a multipoint connectivity via USB-C dongle or in Bluetooth 5.2. The goal is obviously to adapt to all video games, whether on PC, Mac, PlayStation or even Nintendo Switch.

The JBL Quantum TWS will be marketed in spring 2022, at 149.96 euros.

Two other pairs for sport and everyday life

JBL has also unveiled its JBL Live Free 2, which adopts a design that is lighter and suitable for everyday life. They also benefit from the adaptive noise reduction feature as well as the Smart Ambient mode. On the other hand, on the autonomy side, it will be necessary to count on reduced performances compared to the rest of this new cuvée, namely only 7 hours and 28 hours with the charging case.

Athletes can turn to the JBL Reflect Aero, designed especially for training sessions, with adjustable ear cups to ensure good support. The headphones will be delivered with ANC and Smart Ambient mode as well as voice control to avoid having to take out your phone when jogging. The JBL Reflect Aero are IP68 certified, of which protect against dust and splashing water.

With these Pulse, JBL promises a sound and light show on the arrival of sunny days. Aware that these speakers are particularly aimed at fans of frenzied evenings, the brand is adding some new ingredients to its already popular recipe. To ignite the dance floor until the early hours, JBL announces an autonomy of 12 continuous hours and the possibility of benefiting from the fast recharge.

His sound JBL Original Pro Sound 360 ° promises total immersion for all guests, who will be able to feast while enjoying the led light show, customizable thanks to a wide choice of themes and options. Everything is adjustable directly from the JBL Portable application. Note that you can connect two JBL Pulse speakers with the JBL PartyBoost to enjoy stereo sound. It will also be possible to” associate several PartyBoost compatible products to invest several rooms in your house, and transform it into a real nightclub.

The JBL Pulse 5 will be available next spring and offered at 249 euros. It will be able to adapt to all situations thanks to its certification IP67, which allows it to withstand rain, and even immersion in a swimming pool.
