Mandibles: a giant fly starring in the trailer for Quentin Dupieux’s film

The official trailer for Mandibles, the new feature film by the French director Quentin Dupieux (Double skin, Rubber) which made its debut at the 77th Venice International Film Festival out of competition and which features a giant fly.

The strange story told by the film is that of Jean-Gab (David Marsais) and Manu (Grégoire Ludig), two men who, having found a giant fly trapped in the trunk of a car, decide to adopt it and keep it as a pet by taming it ( not without some problem).

The film, an all-French comedy, will arrive in theaters with stars and stripes on July 23, while in the Italian ones it has already been available since last June 17 (as long as you can find it in the programming).

The cast of the film includes Grégoire Ludig, David Marsais, Adèle Exarchopoulos, India Hair, Roméo Elvis, Coralie Russier, Bruno Lochet, Raphaël Quenard, Gaspard Augé, Thomas Blanchard, Philippe Dusseau, Olivier Blanc, Jean-Paul Solal, Jézabel Marques and Marie Narbonne.

Quentin Dupieux directed the film which was produced by Hugo Selignac and Vincent Mazel.
