The house of ideas is regulated like a Swiss clock. As Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters, Marvel has another surprise for its fans, this time on Disney +.
Christmas is fast approaching and Disney + is making the big bucks. In the penultimate episode of his series Hawkeye, the house of ideas hides several little surprises, which can be enjoyed without moderation and with a lot of pleasure. We come back to the different things that should not be missed in this episode 5.
It goes without saying that we are going to spoil the events of this new chapter, go your way if you haven’t seen it yet.

We have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of Caïd for several weeks. The character played by Vincent D’Onofrio in Daredevil just made a cameo appearance in Episode 5, which already heralds Matt Murdock’s integration into the MCU. We learn that he is the one who has been pulling the strings from the start, so we can expect a clash between Kate Bishop, Clint Barton and Wilson Fisk. Especially since the mother of the young woman is visibly steeped in her business. The last part of Jonathan Igla’s series promises to be explosive, to our delight.
Who is Wilson Fisk?
You have not seen Daredevil ? So you probably did not understand the importance of the character in the comics of the house of ideas. Launched in 2015 on Netflix, the series follows the adventures of lawyer Matt Murdock who leads a double life in the New York neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. Blind after an accident, the young man has developed extraordinary abilities which make him an outstanding fighter. With the sole purpose of protecting the inhabitants of his neighborhood from the underworld, he goes to war against clans of criminals, all manipulated by Wilson Fisk. If the Kingpin was put out of harm’s way at the end of season 3, he obviously managed to get out of the woods. 2018, the end date of the series, represents the period in which the Blip took place, so we can imagine that he took advantage of this bug in the space-time continuum to go English style.

If you read his lines, you have already had the chance to see Spider-Man: No Way Home. As you might expect, Matt Murdock made his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, through the front door unlike his main antagonist Wilson Fisk.
A certain sense of timing therefore for Marvel, which confirms the arrival of Netflix characters in its vast connected universe. Still, this introduction was rather summary, and it will probably be necessary to wait a little longer before finding them on the big screen. We can nevertheless hope that the series Echo will give him a more important role, and that it will allow us to finally find out what happened to the character played by Charlie Cox after the finale of the series of Steven S. DeKnight.
We can also imagine that Marvel will enjoy the next few months of lull before the release of Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness to announce a first solo feature film. After all, a few spaces in its program for the next few years are still free. We may not have to wait very long.
