Microsoft will make it easier to hold question-and-answer rounds in Teams

One of the most important shortcomings that Microsoft Teams currently has is that, in order to hold question and answer sessions, it is necessary to download an additional application from the dedicated store that this platform has. Needless to say, for many users, this represents a significant inconvenienceand it can even become a problem if they are not sure that they should download said application before starting to work.

The fact is that Microsoft seems to have realized the problem that this represents, and according to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, it is already working on the option of holding a round of questions and answers is integrated directly into the meeting options. It will be available to all users on different platforms, including from the web version of Microsoft Teams to dedicated applications for mobile devices.

When the option to maintain a round of questions and answers is enabled, the organizers will also be able to choose if they want it to be of the type moderate or not moderate. It is evident that to deal with complex events or those that may deal with controversial issues, the first option will be the most appropriate. Beyond what has been said, we are not entirely clear what differences in terms of user experience this implementation will offer compared to the dedicated application, but it will not take long to find out, since it should be available at the end of this month.

On the other hand, I remind you that Microsoft also promised to introduce a new function that will allow conduct surveys in Teams, And it’s coming sometime this month. The Redmond company continues to work to implement other functions with which to improve its well-known platform dedicated to power, and optimize, collaborative work.
