Mindgram has just launched a program in Spain aimed at startups that are committed to caring for and developing Mental health of their teams.
Christened as ‘Mindgram for Startups‘, this program of the European B2B platform that promotes support for workers in the field of well-being, was born with the aim of helping both founders and employees to face the most complex situations in their day-to-day work, and offer them the necessary tools for take care of your well-being.
Those startups that want to benefit from the advantages of the program must have an activity of less than five years; a team of, at most, 150 people; and be linked to a venture capital, an accelerator or an incubator.
According to the report on the mental health of the founder and employees of startups, HR Hints (2021), 56% of founders recognize that their work negatively affects relationships with family and friends, and yet, only 15% of these companies offer psychological support programs to their teams. In fact, it is proven that people who work in this sector are more prone to stress, burnout or depression.
Adrián Viñuales, responsible for the expansion of Mindgram in Latin America, has pointed out the importance of all companies having access to services to take care of their well-being. “Our mission is to facilitate access to mental health care, and we firmly believe that a holistic solution like ours helps build a strong and resilient organization.”
Mindgram expands its portfolio of services
The well-being and mental health care platform, which began its activity in Spain last March, enters the second half of the year with news for its clients, among which are companies such as music technology BMAT; cloud management software Zapiens; or the food chain Healthy Poke.
“We believe that a healthy body is not enough: true well-being is balancing mental and physical health, knowing your needs and knowing how to attend to them. It sounds simple, but it is one of the biggest challenges, especially now in such insecure times. Every day we face different challenges, and our needs are constantly changing. That is why at BMAT we want to make sure that our team has access to a platform that offers them real, comprehensive support on many levels.” – says Noelia Alonso, head of people at BMAT.
Arturo Rodriguez Castaño, head of people at Healthy Poke adds that «At Healthy Poke we have always been promoters of all healthy habits, eating in a balanced way and having adequate physical activity. Thanks to Mindgram we have managed to incorporate that fundamental 3rd column such as mental and emotional well-being. We are delighted with this initiative as we believe that our entire team will receive the necessary help and support in this area”.
Nuria Cadenas, head of HR at Zapiens says: “A stable and highly productive team depends on the emotional and psychological state of its members. If the team is satisfied and motivated, they will respond better and faster to challenges, and for this their well-being and mental health must be monitored and taken care of. For employees to cope well with daily stress, they need to develop emotional management tools. Apps like Mindgram will help them achieve this through different types of resources: group workshops, podcasts or support through chat.”
