Moon Knight has become one of the most important phenomena in the Marvel cinematic universe so far in 2022, at least in the series part and with the permission of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessWhat is it the film that does seem destined to explain many things of those that are happening in the current Phase 4. Now, all this will not serve to explain the strange phenomena that have been taking place in some episodes of this moon knight. Do you know what they are?
Stellar and unexpected appearances
It is not something new in this series that in some shots, in a furtive way, elements appear that neither the director nor anyone on the set imagined introducing because, basically, these are errors that have been passed from hand to hand until they have been made public without being able to camouflage. And it is that throughout the history of cinema there are infinite examples of sound poles that have crept into the shot, or technicians, or extras with some garment that did not match much with the time in which the plot takes place and even shadows and reflections in glass that have been shown in all its splendor to all those who work behind the cameras.
But unlike those times, now there are digital effects technicians (VFX) that can erase any miasma that sneaks into the shot. And in moon knight, those special guests have had to do with two specific moments of the Disney + series. One occurs in episode 4, specifically at minute 18:24, where it is possible to verify that a technician’s sports shoe and part of his leg appear in the shadows in the lower right corner of the frame, as you can see right down here.
We won’t say that the other sequence is more difficult to watch, but it is much more fleeting and only a few frames are on the screen. Takes place in episode 3 of Moon Knightin the chase that takes place in the souk and has as its protagonist a cameraman who is capturing the action from another plane, stationed in what looks like a portal that in theory should hide him from the other perspective that is the one that they have left in montage as the main one.
As we indicate to you on the right of the plane, you can see a part of the operator’s arms and a bit of the viewfinder of the camera itself. It’s not that it’s a scandal, but once we know what happens on that shot, our eyes instinctively go there.
Will they be corrected?
It is not so much surprising that these errors occur during a shoot as that they end up reaching the final cut to which we platform users have access, since there are enough graphic retouching tools to eliminate them of a feather duster without anyone noticing. But incredibly, these bugs have been passed from hand to hand without anyone being able to see them when they were still fixable.
What is certain, because they have done it before, is that at some point Disney will fix those bugs, will digitally erase them, reupload the affected episodes and nothing has happened here. Total, that is something that we have already seen in the past with mistakes like those of that character in jeans from The Mandalorian. If you go looking for him, he has disappeared!
