Morefine M600 is a very powerful compact Ryzen mini-PC

Morefine M600 is another compact mini-PC with small dimensions that stands out for offering a lot of power, enough to even be able to run a large number of video games, although obviously with the limitations that the integrated graphics of an AMD APU entails and the possibility of mitigate that by using FSR.

The Morefine M600, whose design is reminiscent of an Intel NUC, is sold through various configurations that vary in price depending on what is selected during the purchase process. The cheapest, which incorporates a Ryzen 5 6600U as a processor, but without RAM or SDD (so they must be added by the user), costs 575 euros. Buyer can select from five 6th Generation AMD Ryzen APU models up to combining a Ryzen 9 6900HX with 64GB of DDR5 RAM at 4,800MHz and 1TB of data storage in NVMe format for a price of 1,420 euros.

We recall that the Ryzen 5 6600U processor has six physical cores, twelve threads and an integrated Radeon 660M graphics with 6 compute units (CU). For its part, the Ryzen 9 6900HX has eight cores, sixteen threads and a Radeon 680M integrated graphics with 12 CUs. Of course, the inclusion of a top-of-the-range processor has a price, and it is the use of a rather bulky active cooling system (with fan) by the Morefine M600.

The Morefine M600 is a piece of equipment that is quite well served at the connection level by making available two RJ45 ports capable of reaching network connections of up to 2.5Gbpsone Thunderbolt 3 port with USB 4.0 support and video out, two M.2 via PCIe 4 form factor slots for SSDs, one SATA connector for a 2.5-inch drive, one HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4 , a 3.5 mm jack connector, three USB 2.0 Type-A ports, three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

The approximate dimensions of the Morefine M600 are 14.73 centimeters wide, 14.48 centimeters deep and 4.06 centimeters high. Officially supports Windows 10, Windows 11, Ubuntu and Linux (on the web they literally say “ubuntu/Linux”, so we assume that it supports Ubuntu through the standard system stack used by all distributions).
