Netflix prepares a tremendous 2023 with all these new movies

Chris Evans, Millie Bobby Brown, Gal Gadot, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Michael Fassbender… These are just some of the actors who will appear on the Netflix billboard this 2023. This has been confirmed by the content platform itself in an official announcement with a video included in which it lets us see a few small brushstrokes of some of the most important projects of the next 12 months. The big movie releases that are yet to come

In general, we tend to pay more attention to series than to movies when talking about streaming platforms, however, the great content services available in Spain have fantastic titles that have given them a very good reputation. In the case of Netflix, there are many genders and formats that it has touched and plans to continue doing so with a 2023 full of titles that are worth having on the radar.

For you to see for yourself, the company has released a video as a teaser in which we have already been able to enjoy the first images of great films that arrive this year at the Catalogue and in which we will see actors and actresses of the stature of Joseph Fiennes, Gael García, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Gal Gadot or Michael Fassbender, among others.

These are the titles that you can see on Netflix within this category

  • Tyler Rake 2 (Extraction 2), action sequel (you also have the first part on Netflix), in which Chris Hemsworth he will play the mercenary Rake again. We will see it on June 16
  • Heart of Stone, spy movie with Gal Gadot starring alongside Jamie Dornan. Arrives on August 11
  • The Mother, with Jennifer López in the role of a deadly assassin for hire flanked by Joseph Fiennes and Gael García Bernal. Arrives May 12
  • lift, with Kevin Hart and Úrsula Corberó (yes, the actress from La Casa de Papel) dealing with terrorists on a plane in mid-flight. It will be released in theaters, and on Netflix on August 25.
  • Monkey Manthriller about greed and revenge co-written, directed and starring Dev Patel

Romantic comedy

Lovers of love films can rest easy: 2023 is going to be a good year for movies on this theme.

  • Your house or mine (Your Place or Mine), such as Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. Arrives in the catalog on February 10
  • Criminals in sight (Murder Mystery 2), the second part, again, with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. Premiere for March 31
  • A Family Affair, with none other than Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King. It will arrive on November 17, 2023
  • The statistical probability of love at first sight (Love at First Sight)in which Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy will fall in love on a flight from New York to London
  • People like you (You People), with Jonah Hill as the protagonist. It opens on January 27

science fiction and fantasy

Do you prefer to let your imagination fly? Take a look at these titles.

  • rebel moon, directed by Zack Snyder and in which you will see Sofia Boutella defending her colony from galactic invaders. Its premiere is expected for December 22
  • Leave the World Behind, a dystopia starring Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali and Ethan Hawke (curious: its executive producers are Barack and Michelle Obama). Arrives on December 8
  • damsel, with Millie Bobby Brown, Angela Bassett and Robin Wright. Arrives on October 13
  • suckdirected by the son of Alfonso Cuarón, in which a teenager discovers a chupacabra in his grandfather’s shed

Those who love crime and detective tapes also have several appointments this year on Netflix.

  • Luther: Night falls (Luther: The Fallen Sun) arrives with Idris Elba in the lead having to face a serious murderer in London. Available March 10
  • reptile with Benicio del Toro, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Silverstone
  • Pain Hustlers, about a criminal plot at a bankrupt pharmaceutical company with Emily Blunt, Chris Evans and Andy Garcia. It opens on October 27
  • The Killer, with Michael Fassbender turned into a murderer in crisis. Prepares its premiere for November 10

Lover of biographical movies and based on true events? Take a look at everything that is coming.
