Continuing its crusade to “democratize” 5G, or what is the same, offer models compatible with these networks in the middle and entry ranges, this time we do not find the Nokia X100 5G, a smartphone quite similar to the latest models presented by the brand, with an even more adjusted price.
Starting with its aesthetics, we find a terminal halfway between the X and G family, with a 6.5-inch native HD + resolution multi-touch LCD screen in a 20: 9 aspect ratio and some pretty remarkable frames. Although it does not stop emphasizing that the Nokia X100 does not have any kind of nocth, with a 16 megapixel front camera with a single sensor perforated in the upper central part.
As for its rear part, the simplicity stands out, with the only presence of a quadruple camera setup, with a main sensor of 48 megapixels with support for autofocus and Zeiss optics, and three other rear cameras that fall somewhat below, with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Turning inside, the first thing that catches our attention is the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor, which, although it is decidedly in an entry-level area rather than a mid-range, will be accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (expandable by microSD up to 1TB). In addition, Nokia has already advanced that this phone will have Android 11, and will receive monthly security updates for at least two years.
On the other hand, HMD ensures that the Nokia X200 should have up to two days of autonomy thanks to a 4,470 mAh battery with adaptive battery technology assisted by AI, which we can charge through a USB-C charging port of 18 W of power. A connectivity section that will be completed with support for WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1as well as FM radio and 5G, 4G LTE and GSM and WCDMA networks, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Thus, at the moment the date or price of the Nokia X100 in Europe has not been released, confirming su availability in the United States as of November 19, under a starting price of $ 252 (approximately 215 euros to change). However, as we have seen on previous occasions, its launch in our region should not come with much difference.
