Nothing Phone 1: here are the first photos of the black version of the transparent smartphone

Nothing is about to lift the veil in a few days on its first smartphone: the Nothing Phone (1). Even before its official launch, we now know that the device should arrive in two colors: white and black.

Yesterday, we reported that our colleagues from RootmyGalaxy had not only unveiled the price and technical characteristics of the Nothing Phone (1), but they had also published a rendering of the smartphone in a new color: black. We thought this was a fan made render, but it would finally seem that this rendering comes from the English manufacturer himself.

Indeed, the leaker Roland Quandt has just unveiled on WinFuture the same rendering of the Nothing Phone (1) in black, but this time it is accompanied other images that let us see the device from all angles. In addition to an image where we can see the LEDs on on the back, another shows us what it will look like when the LEDs are off.

The Nothing Phone 1 will arrive in black, like the Ear 1 before it

The arrival of a black version for the Nothing Phone (1) is not really a surprise, since the English manufacturer had also decided to offer its Ear headphones (1) a black version some time after the release of the white version. This time, we’re not sure if both colorways will be available at launchbut since the renders were unveiled at the same time, it’s a safe bet that Nothing will leave the choice to consumers from the start of sales.

In addition to the two colors, we know that the Nothing Phone (1) will be marketed around 399 euros in three different configurations. The first will use 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, another 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and Nothing will even offer a version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

As a reminder, Nothing has just confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, which is already found in the Motorola Edge 30 that we tested on video. The Nothing Phone (1) would be equipped with a 6.55-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display powered by a 4500mAh battery compatible with the 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The photo part would be provided by a 50 MP main sensor and a 16 MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and there would be a 16 MP sensor for selfies.
