Play 5 hours free of PS5 games
A new feature has appeared on the UK PSN Store. As users have seen with their own eyes, the store is offering the possibility of downloading for free Death Stranding Director’s Cut and Sackboy: A Big Adventure just by pressing the download button. This is a promotion (only available for PS5) that allows users to try the game before buying it, with the peculiarity of being able to do so during 5 hours, albeit with a certain trick.
Download speed will determine the test
As indicated in the fine print, the 5 hour trial period begin to the moment you press the button from “Download test” or “Add to library”, depending on whether you do it from the console or visiting the PSN Store from another device. This means that, if you have a slow internet connection, you are probably consuming a lot of time out of those 5 hours of testing that you have available, finally leaving you with a very little game time.
It is important to emphasize that these are tests limited by time, and not demos, so the game is downloaded in full, and you can play it as much as you can while time allows. So the question is, is it possible to extend this 5 hour trial?
Make the most of your time
The problem that the download of the game consumes time of use is already consuming time of your 5 privileged hours of testing is something that will annoy many users, but luckily, it seems that there is a simple trick so that we can start playing without the 5 o’clock time has practically started to count down.
As they comment in Eurogamer, just enough login with a new user on the console that uses the same region in the app store. This user will request the 5 hour trial period and the game will begin to download. Once downloaded, we will only have to log in with our regular user, and when requesting the trial period, the game will already be completely downloaded, so we will start playing it immediately. Thus, we will have the 5 hours of play completely at our mercy, being able to make the most of the trial period. How far will players be able to go in Death stranding with 5 hours of play?

The bad news is that this limited-time trial modality is currently only available in the United Kingdom, so no matter how hard you search, you won’t find the option unless you are in the British country. We will see if this option reaches the Spanish store and we can also enjoy these tests.
