Revoolt launches WhatsApp & Shop, a new shopping service for stores

The startup Revoolt, specialized in urban logistics for the last mile, has just launched a purchase and delivery service on the day through WhatsApp. Thanks to its FreshNow platform, this initiative allows customers to order the items they want through WhatsApp accounts, specifically enabled by stores and receive them at home or pick them up on the same day.

The first company to use this service was Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), a global operator of shopping centers, which has already implemented WhatsApp & Shop in Westfield The Machinist and Westfield Glòries (Barcelona) and in the Parquesur Shopping Center (Madrid).

The operator also plans to be able to manage customer purchases centrally through this service in the future, being able to attend to their requests from any of the centers depending on the store or its stock. The objective is that consumers can enjoy a model of hybrid shopping, that combines the physical shopping experience with the convenience of online shopping.

Easy to use

Revoolt’s FreshNow platform takes care of the entire purchase service process, and store pickup or home delivery. In this way, customers can check availability and confirm the price of a product just by indicating the model, size, color and store where they can purchase it or attaching a screenshot of the web or a photo of the product label. They can then choose whether to pick it up at the store or receive it at their home, at what time, and finish proceeding with the payment.
