Samsung wants to design its own processors for laptops and smartphones

Samsung’s decision to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC in its Galaxy S23 cast doubt on the future of Exynos SoCs, and also on the plans of the South Korean giant to continue manufacturing its own chips and its own processors. According to the source, Samsung is taking its goal of designing its own processors so seriously that it has “accelerated the whole process”, and it is investing a lot of resources to achieve it.
