Several companies come together to offer 50 ‘Freelance Digital Talent’ scholarships for freelancers

TaxScouts has decided to participate together with Ironhack, Malt, Demium, Nomo and Aticco in the Freelance Digital Talent Scholarship Programwith the aim of promoting training in new digital skills for freelancers.

With this initiative, made up of more than 50 scholarships, TaxScouts reinforces its commitment to the self-employed, offering them access to new job opportunities and betting on the democratization of technology. The scholarships will train more than 50 freelancers in disciplines such as web development, data analysis, cybersecurity or UX/UI design to boost their career in the digital world.

The program, valued at 90,000 eurosis made up of two types of scholarships that cover 50% and 20% of the total value of the course, which can be carried out in person in Madrid, Barcelona or remotely, for residents of other cities.

These courses will have two modalities: full-time, with a total duration of nine weeks, or part-time for 24 weeks, in order to facilitate learning and access for all users. The deadline to apply for these scholarships begins on June 21 and ends on July 31. Once the registration period has ended, the applications will be assessed and the recipients of the more than 50 ‘Freelance Digital Talent’ scholarships will be determined.

Demand boost

The pandemic has boosted the demand for technological profiles, so much so that according to data from the European Union, 45% of offers in the last year in Spain have been related to the digital environment, which means 200,000 jobs In our country. This is also from the self-employed, who for the last two years have worked to keep up with the unstoppable pace of technology and the growing need for digitization. That is why, currently, it is essential that the self-employed are trained in digital skills that allow them to compete in a digitized world.
