We had an appointment with Sony pending, and the thing is that the manufacturer decided that this year’s CES was not the place to present its new range of Smart TVs for this new year. Finally, the manufacturer has decided to wait until the end of February to present its entire renewed range, so we are going to review all the models that are introduced in the 2023.
Sony Bravia XR 2023
There are exactly four new models that complement the brand’s Smart TV offer. Sony’s idea is to continue to offer a fully immersive home theater experience, so to achieve this, it has introduced technologies such as XR Clear Image and Acoustic Center Sync.
The proposals offer technological solutions of all kinds, since at the panel level a rather surprising variety of technology is offered with OLED, QD-OLED, Full Array LED and Mini LEDs.
What do the new 2023 models offer?
The new 2023 range will be characterized by including all these common features among all models:
- XR Cognitive Processor with XR Clear Image: The new version of the cognitive processor that we already saw in previous generations improves its performance even more with XR Clear Image technology. This technology is responsible for reducing noise and motion blur in the image, so that we obtain clearer and more striking reproductions.
- XR Backlight Master Drive: With the help of a local dimming algorithm, the XR Cognitive Processor is able to control the Mini LEDs one by one with complete precision, enabling incredible brightness and contrast with extremely deep blacks.
- Acoustic Center Sync: This function synchronizes the TV speakers with a Sony sound bar, thus boosting the center channel for clearer dialog.
- Perfect for PS5: Unsurprisingly, the new TVs are ideal for connecting a PS5, as the console will automatically configure itself to turn on HDR tone mapping and Genre Picture Mode completely independently.

BRAVIA XR X95L 4K HDR Mini LED
The Mini LED proposal comes in 85, 75 and 65-inch versions. It is an extremely advanced model that has an aluminum design with almost no bezels and the peculiarity of offering an extremely detailed image thanks to the mini LEDs.

The QD-OLED option with quantum dots arrives with the A95L. It is a 200% brighter model than the previous generation (A95K) available in 77, 65 and 55-inch versions. Its level of contrast and brightness is exceptional, thanks to the QD-OLED panel and the XR cognitive processor. It is one of the highest ranges along with the X95L.

Prices
At the moment the manufacturer has not shared the prices that all these models will have, so we will have to wait a little longer until Sony decides to publish the prices on its official website. Normally this usually happens around the month of April, so we will not have to wait too long to find out for sure.
