It’s the end of a journey for Universal Pictures. The studios are preparing to unveil the latest installment of the Jurassic World saga, which will bring together new and old characters from the universe. Trailer.
The dinos are back for the third and final part of the saga Jurassic World. 7 years after the resurrection of the license on the big screen, Colin Trevorrow will say goodbye. This new film, still with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, should conclude the plot initiated with Jurassic World first of the name. For this last lap, the director brings together legendary figures from the universe, and in particular the headliners of the previous saga.
We thus find Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neil, respectively in the skin of Ian Malcolm, Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant. The older generation will come to lend a hand to Owen Grady and Claire, while humanity is threatened by the arrival of dinosaurs on the continent. New actors will also join the adventure, starting with DeWanda Wise (Nola Darling does as she pleases) and Mamadou Athie (Archives 81). Omar Sy, who had already appeared in the first part, should also take over the role of Barry Sembène.
4 years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs are now part of the daily life of all humanity. A delicate balance that will challenge the dominance of the human species now that it must share its space with the most ferocious creatures history has ever known.
A great show
This summer, before fans of big cars discover the new opus of the saga Fast and Furious, Universal has unveiled an unseen excerpt from the film. A sequence presented in IMAX in cinemas, which featured 7 new creatures imagined by Industrial Light & Magic. We can expect a great show for this new film, all to the music of Michael Giacchino, who had already paid a vibrant tribute to the work of John Williams in the first two parts.
A conclusion ?
Jurassic World: The World After has been announced for a while as the conclusion of this new saga. Nevertheless, the producer has recently entrusted to have other projects on fire. Frank Marshall told /film: “The World After will conclude this trilogy, but we are not resting on our laurels. We obviously want to make great movies with great storytelling, great writers and directors, but we’re certainly looking to do more in the world of Jurassic.”
Rather enigmatic statements, but which could be a way of confirming that the future of the saga may not be on the big screen. Are the studios planning to unveil a live-action series?
