Tesla is launching a promotional operation aimed at all its customers. From February 11 to February 27, 2022, charging will be free on certain Superchargers for all owners of a brand vehicle. There are of course some constraints of time and place. We will explain everything to you !
We published an article at the beginning of February about the evolution of the amount that a driver must pay to drive with his electric car. The price of the kilowatt has risen sharply in recent months, whatever the network: Ionity, Fastned or Tesla. Rates have increased so much at charging stations that, under certain conditions, driving an electric car can be more expensive.

Fortunately, it is possible to drive cheaper than going through a charging station. For example, you can charge your car using a household electrical outlet. But is it possible to ride… for free? Normally no. But Tesla decided tooffer its customers their winter holiday route. Indeed, owners of a Tesla will be able to recharge their car for free at one of the Supercharger stations participating in the operation.
Here’s when you can charge your Tesla for free with Superchargers
There are of course some conditions to benefit from a free recharge. The first is the day. The operation starts on February 11, 2022 and ends February 27, 2022. During this period, free admission is offered on weekends only. So it starts on Friday and ends on Sunday. Also, there is a time requirement. You will only be able to charge your Tesla during less busy times: before 10 a.m. in the morning and after 6 p.m. in the afternoon.
Finally, last condition: you must go to one of the charging stations participating in the operation. According to Dealabs, the list matters about thirty stations out of the approximately 80 currently in operation in France. Motorways for winter sports are generally covered. This is good news. Finally, last point, this offer is only valid for Tesla vehicles, even if the Superchargers network is open to electric cars from other brands.
