In a week, we’ll finally have an answer to a crucial question for all Star Wars fans: how did Boba Fett survive the Sarlacc? As a reminder, during episode 6 of Star Wars, the bounty hunter plunged into the open mouth of the Tatooine monster which digests its victims for a very long time without ever letting them escape. However, we discovered during the second season of The Mandalorian that the monster had not digested it.

In a week, then, we will certainly know more about the circumstances of his escape from the belly of the monster. Indeed, on December 29, Disney + will broadcast the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett, the spin-off of The Mandalorian. This new series takes place just after the second season of The Adventures of Din Djarin, when Boba Fett recovers his armor (the circumstances of Boba Fett’s separation from his armor are also a mystery to be clarified).

Indeed, The Book of Boba Fett will focus on the takeover of the underworld of Tatooine by the Mandalorian hunter and his accomplice. Fennec shand. An underworld left without a leader ever since the death of Jabba the Hutt (in the hands of Leïa Organa). This last trailer is named Authority. And it shows that Boba Fett will have to use political power as much as intimidation and cunning to maintain power over Tatooine. This will give us the opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of life on Tatooine (which obviously isn’t just about hydroponic farms, pod races and tusken hunters).
