the credits of the series are emulated

The new DC series makes John Cena wiggle his hips, on a music that has nothing to envy to the Guardians of the Galaxy playlists.

James Gunn strikes again. The director, excellent behind the camera as well as with the choice of his original music, has just once again blown us away with Peacemaker. The spin-off of The Suicide Squad, who is interested in the fate of the character introduced this summer in James Gunn’s film, offers a credits that we are not ready to get tired of.

To music by Wig Wam, “Do ya wanna taste it?”, we take pleasure in seeing the whole cast wiggle their hips before the official launch of the episode. John Cena particularly stands out from the lot, after all, he is the one who is at the heart of the plot. This new tune could easily find its place in “Awesome Mixtape” which makes the reputation of Guardians of the Galaxy, again directed by James Gunn.

As a reminder, Peacemaker follows the adventures of the vigilante shortly after the events of The Suicide Squad. Left for dead after his confrontation with Bloodsport, Christopher Smith is given new missions by Amanda Waller’s team. With his companion Eagly, a Bald Eagle, he will confront criminals and establish peace in the United States. The peace ? Not really since the character has his own definition of this notion.

No distribution in France?

Launched last Thursday in the United States, the series does not currently have a French broadcast date. If it was OCS that had exclusive HBO content so far, the cards were redistributed with the launch of the SVOD platform. Since then, Salto and other offers of the genre have offered a few series from its catalog, even if OCS seems to keep a good part of the new works from the channel.

Thus, at the time of writing these lines, it is very difficult to know where and when this new production stamped DC Comics will land. We will probably have to wait a little longer before we find out.

For the moment, HBO Max is not available in our green regions. While the offer is exported to the old continent, France is still absent from the list of countries concerned. Blame it on an agreement with Orange, which is due to end this year.

HBO Max will also have to comply with the new directives on the financing of French creation, which will allow platforms to reduce the time it takes for films released in theaters to be reduced from 36 to 15 months, in exchange for part of their turnover. . For HBO Max, which benefits from the entire Warner Bros catalog in the United States, these new measures which should be applied in the coming months are not to be taken lightly.
