The Digital Kig for micro-enterprises with up to 2 workers will open in October

According to information sources, the last section of the Digital Kit will be available this October. Nadia Calviño, Vice President of Economic Affairs, has not specified whether it will be the first or the second fortnight of the month. In any case, the self-employed and micro-enterprises of up to two workers you will be able to submit your requests to be digitized, very soon.

Until now, the calls for two sections have already been opened. The first for companies with between 10 to 49 employees and the second for companies with between 3 and 9 workers. In total they have a total budget of 1,000 million (500 million each). Therefore, this latest subsidy -aimed at micro-enterprises and the self-employed- will have just over 2,000 million euros.

The third tranche is expected be the one that encompasses the most companies. According to INE data, almost 2 million companies or 56% of them have one or two employees.

Thus, according to La Información, sources from the ministry have told them that «In October we are going to open the call and, with this, we will give companies a deadline so that they can read the conditions and thus they can gather the relevant documentation».

The second call has been open since this month of September. As confirmed by those responsible for the program, they have already received more than 34,000 requests to receive this digital help. The ministry has indicated that these figures are very good. However, there is still a pending -and important- issue in said digitization plan: that the funds end up arriving. In fact, and without going any further, the subsidies of the first tranche have only reached 31% of the companies that requested it.
