That’s it, after several months of waiting, Oppo’s first clamshell smartphone will be launched in France, and we won’t have to wait long before we know everything about it. The presentation is scheduled for next week.
Last December, Oppo unveiled its first flip smartphone, the Find N2 Flip. Unfortunately, it had only arrived in China, but Oppo had promised that the device would arrive in Europe at the beginning of 2023. The Chinese manufacturer has therefore just formalized the arrival of the smartphone duringa conference scheduled for February 15.
According to Oppo’s press release, we understand that the Find N2 Flip will be the only smartphone presented next week. No Find X6 and X6 Pro are on the horizon just yet, with their launch presumably scheduled for the end of March 2023.
What price for the Find N2 Flip in Europe?
As a reminder, the Find N2 Flip is powered by a chip from MediaTek, the Dimensity 9000+. Its particularity is probably its large 4300 mAh battery (compatible with 44W wired fast charging), which gives it longer autonomy than its rivals, but also its large external screen placed vertically on the upper part.
On the main screen, there is a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with refresh rate 120 Hz and LTPO technology. Finally, on the back, there are two photo sensors, a main 50MP IMX890 and an 8 MP ultra wide-angle. At the front, the smartphone relies on a 32 MP selfie sensor with integrated autofocus. (Klonopin)
For now, it’s unclear how much the different configurations of the Oppo Find N2 Flip will cost, but previous rumors indicated that prices should start around 1100 euros. The smartphone would therefore be at the same level as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 when it was launched. The problem is that it is no longer very recent, which makes it possible to find it at a reduced price.
Oppo will therefore have to convince new customers with its first flip smartphone, but we don’t worry too much about it. The first tests in China showed that it wasone of the best smartphones in its categorybut we are waiting to be able to test it for ourselves to be sure.
