apple iphone 14 plus review

It’ll still be a while before Apple introduces its fourth-generation iPhone SE, but when it does arrive the low-cost device will look quite familiar, with an overall design based on the current generation iPhone. 14, according to the latest leak. Indeed, according to URedditor, known for having shared some novelties of the iPhone 15, the iPhone SE 4 will look a lot like the iPhone 14, with some differences.

The iPhone SE 4 will have to be content with only rear camera, as was already the case with the previous iPhone SE 3. So it would seem that Apple always wants to reserve the best photo performance for its more expensive devices.

The iPhone SE 4 will get a new action button

According to information from the leaker, one of the most notable changes on this new generation of iPhone SE 4 would be the arrival of an action buttonwhich would be identical to the one that will be introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro.

As a reminder, we have known for several months now that Apple was working on a brand new action button, which would come replace the old switch for silent mode on the edge of the iPhone. This new button would trigger actions more easily than via the touch screen. The functionalities would be 9 in number, and would include for example the activation of the flashlight, the camera, the silent mode or even a translation mode.

The iPhone SE 4 would also be entitled to Face ID, a first for this series, since it will say goodbye to the Home button that we found until now below the screen. This new generation will be the first to adopt the famous iPhone notch, making Face ID the only biometric identification present on the device.

Finally, let us note the presence of a USB-C port, Apple having finally decided to abandon its proprietary Lightning port because of pressure from the European Union. On its least expensive series, Apple should be content with the USB 2.0 standard, capable of only reaching 480 Mbit / s transfer speed. We will of course keep you informed as soon as we learn more.
