
OnePlus took advantage of MWC 2022 to clarify its future strategy and its relationship with Oppo a little more. As a result, the manufacturer formalized the arrival in March of the OnePlus 10 Pro.

OnePlus in 2021 is 11 million smartphones sold worldwide and since the release of the Nord range, it’s still 10 million of the OnePlus Nord range sold, it’s impressive. With 20 million Red Cable Club members worldwide (OnePlus is aiming for 30 million by the end of the year), Pete Lau took advantage of this point to announce the arrival of the OnePlus 10 Pro in India, Europe and the United States by the end of March. But that’s not all, OnePlus intends to expand and arrive in Canada, South America, the Middle East or even Southeast Asia.

Oxygen OS and Color OS
Of course, Oppo and OnePlus are common resources in order to advance the two brands. Oppo is Research and Development, just like technological innovations, while OnePlus is all about communication strategy and expertise around the user experience. Also, we have had confirmation that OnePlus and Oppo have somewhere merged their teams aroundOxygenOS and ColorOS. But let the fans be reassured, the two overlays will continue to exist, Oxygen OS for a user experience close to Android Stock while Color OS will carry the new features that the manufacturer thinks it can bring. Note that OnePlus has clarified that Oxygen OS will continue to equip all smartphones outside of China, which implies that Chinese models should switch to Color OS.

This is not all since OnePlus also intends to bring its stone to the building in terms of technological innovations. Let it be clear, let it be Oppo Where OnePlus, the innovations will inevitably arrive on the other but in a second time. In any case, the first innovation beneficial to the consumer will be a super fast 150W recharge which will arrive in the second quarter on a new OnePlus product. That’s not all, OnePlus smartphones should benefit from new functions around Gaming with the HyperBoost Gaming Engine which stabilizes the framerate of games, synchronizes the processor with the display and improves the efficiency of rendering by the GPU of the SoC
