Pixel Fold, the long-awaited first foldable mobile from Google, has appeared leaked on video By Kuba Wojciechowski, a developer specialized in Google products and usually trustworthy in his information.
And we usually say because the video in question is a short clip where you can only see the main screen folded / unfolded, the hinge that allows its movement, the bezels and the camera for selfies. We do not see Google logos or other distinctive signs such as the design of the rear camera that could confirm its veracity. Certainly, what we see in the image could equally pass for a Samsung or Oppo prototype.

Taking for granted that the clip corresponds to the Pixel Fold, we confirm that it is a ‘book’-type design used by most manufacturers that have launched their foldables so far. The size of the main screen is in line with the specifications that we have seen so far and that stands at 7.6 inches. However, the aspect ratio shows us a less elongated device than Samsung’s Galaxy Fold and closest to what Oppo offers with your Find N2.
And little else except some unconventional thick bezels at the bottom of the interior folding panel. As for the hinge, it is not possible to ensure that it is “the strongest on the market” as previous leaks said. We also have no idea about the main camera system and whether it will use the main 50-megapixel sensor from the Pixel 7.
What is certain is that Google will bet on using its own main engine, the Tensor G2 SoC developed internally and already used in other Pixel devices. There is still talk of 12 Gbytes of RAM and 256 Gbytes of internal storage capacity as main specifications.
we left it in standby waiting for official news that surely will not reach Google I / O where its presentation is expected. Pixel Fold is an important model as the first foldable of the Android owner and as a boost to a mobile market whose sales will fall sharply in the first half of 2023.
