The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra of 2022 aims to be a true top of the range

Kicking off the new year with a bang, it looks like Samsung is poised to refresh its tablet lineup, topped by a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra that aims to be the largest and most powerful tablet marketed by the company to date, aiming to compete with the iPad Pro in the high range.

As advanced from WinFuture, this new Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra would look a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, surprising with a significant reduction in its upper notch, maintaining a larger display surface. Although this does not mean that Samsung dispenses with anything in return, since in fact we will continue to be able to find the same distribution of two 12-megapixel cameras on the front.

Top-of-the-range features that continue inside. Following in line with the rest of the Galaxy Tab S8 models, the new tablet would repeat with the use of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip (with an optional 5G variant) and the Adreno 730 GPU, along with some customization options with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage expandable, crowned by a 11,200 mAh battery more than enough to last several days of intensive use.

Thus, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will also have a full compatibility with the S-Pen and a fingerprint reader under the screen, in addition to the presence of a system double rear cameras in its rear, with a 13-megapixel lens and a 6-megapixel wide-angle lens, quad speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos.

Although at the moment no official launch date or price has been revealed within the leak, from WinFuture itself they point out that Samsung could present this new range of tablets in the already rumored Unpacked event scheduled for next February 8, along with the new Galaxy S22.

On the other hand, the Appuals website advances us the possible prices of the whole new family, starting with a base Galaxy Tab S8 that will not exceed 700 euros, going through the Plus model that will go up to around 900 euros, and completing the range with the new Galaxy Tab S8 Ulta, which with a base model with only Wi-Fi connectivity -Fi, will start around 1050 euros, expanding its price according to the different additional storage options or 5G connectivity.
