More wood, that the Apple TV + train does not stop. That is the slogan that they have between eyebrows in Cupertino, and of course they are applying it “to the bare feet.” We already have a release date for another new series that has just finished shooting: «The Afterparty«.

Apple has just announced that it has finished filming the series “The Afterparty” and has set a date for its release on Apple TV +. It will be next Friday, January 28, 2022.
As is customary on the platform, the first three chapters of the series will be available for viewing on the same day of launch. The following five, of the total of eight that make up the first season, will appear in Apple TV + the following Friday of each week.
The plot of “The Afterparty” takes place at a high school reunion where a person is murdered. It is a mystery drama where the same incidents are recounted from the point of view of different characters. Each episode has been shot with a different visual style and embodied in a different film genre.
Tiffany haddishfrom “Girls Trip” plays the central character of Detective Danner. Partygoers, school friends, and suspects include actors such as Ben Schwartz, Sam Richardson, Zoe Chao, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou, and John Early.
Apple itself has described it as a “genre-defying” series. So we will have to take a look at it when it opens, to see if it is to our liking. but we will have to wait until late January for it.
