According to a Twitter member, older Galaxys will benefit from theImage Clipper, a tool that appeared in One UI 5.1deployed in February 2023.
Image Clipper is a feature built into the Galaxy S23 Gallery app. Thanks to it, users can literally extract an object or a person from a photograph and paste it into a messaging application such as WhatsApp or Telegram. It is obviously possible to save the image file thus obtained. iPhone owners will note that this feature is also present on iOS, by going to Photos.

How to take advantage of the Image Clipper is also identical on iPhone as on a Galaxy. Simply open a photo in the Gallery app, then long-press the object you want to clip.
