When Doom meets Blade Runner Turbo Overkill is born

In this explosive game created by Trigger Happy Interactive, former creators of the award-winning Total Chaos mod for Doom II, we will step into the shoes of Johnny Turno, a mercenary who will have to clean up his hometown Paradise of crime and defeat the artificial intelligence Syn.

Turbo Overkill will include a number of momentum and movement-based mechanics, such as Hero Time, a new form of slow motion. Johnny’s leg, which will have a chainsaw implemented, will also be a useful tool for gutting enemies and decreasing the health of bosses.

During the main campaign, players will have 24 levels filled with secrets, walls to run on, bonuses and combat puzzles. Along the way there will be collectibles that will unlock gameplay-changing modifiers, such as triple speed or instant kill.

Scott Miller, founder of Apogee Entertaiment, he has declared: “As the guy who helped launch the shooter genre with Wolfenstein 3D, Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem 3D, Max Payne and Prey, I wasn’t so thrilled with a FPS from the golden era of Apogee / 3D Realms“.

Turbo Overkill will be released in 2022 on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Xbox Series, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
