VOD News brings you the best releases of the week on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+… And, following the path that passes through valleys and mountains, we descend in a fairly slow week on the whole, even with the honorable exception of Pachinko… and a little more.

Surprise, therefore, that Pachinko leave the Apple TV + catalog, unlike what happens with Netflix, not because of its quality, but because of its quantity, although right now it has six series on the air.
Pachinko
It will be short: Pachinko is the serial adaptation of the homonymous novel by Korean-American writer Min Jin Lee, a finalist for the United States National Book Awards and a New York Times bestseller. This Pachinko television, however, is one hundred percent Korean and maintains the high quality standard to which the country’s audiovisual fiction has accustomed us in recent years.
Pachinko is also a game similar to pinballbut do not expect a rehash of the the squid game or of dr brainthe other and also highly recommended South Korean Apple TV+ series: Pachinko It is a drama with a costumbrista style that as an adaptation of the novel is not exciting, but as a series it is, and in fact there are already those who dare to put it on the podium of the best of the year.
Disney+
We continue with Disney +, which also has a striking premiere, this one for all audiences, in addition to a handful of interesting additions to the catalog in which there is a bit of everything.
Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck
I will be shorter if possible: Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck is… a new animated film from the popular franchise of 20th Century Studios, which is still a subsidiary of Disney. This time the protagonist is Buck, whom you may remember from the last installments for being that half Rambo, half Gollum weasel. All in all, the six years that have passed since the previous film do not seem to have been enough to make something drinkable, judging by the almost unanimous categorization of garbage that specialized critics are putting on it.

Amazon Prime Video
It is the turn of Amazon Prime Video, which also comes with a recent premiere under its arm, as well as a handful of other more or less interesting things that come into the catalog.
The grandmother
The premiere is another film, although it has nothing to do with the previous one. The grandmother was released in theaters at the end of January and is available now on Prime Video. This is the latest film by Paxo Plaza, responsible for the franchise of REC and a few more movies like who kills with iron, Veronica, Romasanta, hunting the beast… Yes, this is terror. Decrepit terror, to be exact.

We are finishing the weekly review with HBO Max, which premieres some other thing without too much depth, as it is shown that not even a trailer has been presented Minxand among what stands out the most is the second season of The Flight Attendant.
