we know the recommended PC configurations, here’s what to expect

Although not as demanding as Returnal, the latest PlayStation exclusive brought to PC, The Last of Us Part 1, will test the capabilities of the most modern computers.

The Last of Us Part 1 PC

The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PC soon, and Sony has already detailed all the specs you’ll need to run the game. The Last of Us Part 1 will be available on PCs worldwide via Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 28, and not March 3 as previously announced. As a reminder, this is the same remake that we tested a few months ago on PS5.

The least we can say is that the minimum configuration requirements are quite high. For example, you will needa 100 GB SSD and Windows 10 Version 1909 (or newer) to start the game, and if you want to get 60 frames per second in 4K with Ultra settings enabled, you will need at least the latest generation of graphics card in your PC.

To play in 4K in good conditions, Naughty Dog recommends an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X or Intel Core i5-12600K processor, along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT (with FSR quality). The last part is critical, as AMD graphics cards are unlikely to be able to meet performance targets without AI-upscaling.
