WeCity incorporates Ignacio David García and Francisco Taboada to its staff

Wecity strengthens its workforce with the appointments of Ignacio David Garcia and Francisco Taboada What investment director and real estate director respectively.

García will be responsible for the investment strategy of the participatory financing platform; while Taboada will handle the negotiations for Wecity to reach new projects.

Extensive experience in its sectors

Ignacio David García has a degree in business administration and management from the Francisco de Vitoria University. He began his professional career at Banco Santander where he spent almost seven years, five of them as a private banking consultant. In 2018, he joined Deutsche Bank to serve as an investment advisor. Prior to joining Wecity, he was the Chief Wealth Officer at Singular Bank.

Francisco Taboada obtained an architect degree from the Alfonso X El Sabio University and in 2009 he received the Bancaja International Scholarship from the Diego Portales University (Santiago de Chile). In addition, he has an international master’s degree in Real Estate Sciences from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

He began his career in Santiago de Chile, first as an architect at Mathias Klotz and later at ISA real estate. In 2016, he moved to Spain to work as asset and project manager real estate; and later as real estate director for the company Housers where he has remained for the last six years.
