What to see this first weekend of November on Netflix, HBO and Amazon

After a shorter working week than usual (which is always appreciated), the weekend arrives (which is even more appreciated if possible). In it you will have the opportunity to possibly do many things, among them, discover the best premieres that have taken place this week on your favorite streaming platform. As always, today, Friday, we select several proposals for you so that all you have to do is take the controller and decide which corner of the sofa you sit on. Ahead.

What to watch on Amazon Prime Video

Unlike other weeks, this has been especially busy on Prime Video, the platform to which – we remind you – you have access just by being subscribed to Amazon Prime. That means that we have several proposals to make to you, as is the case with the Spanish film 42 seconds about the Spanish water polo team (and with Jaime Lorente and Álvaro Cervantes as protagonists) and the film my policeman. This second one, with Harry Styles, Emma Corrin and David Dawson, tells us about the curious trio that arises between three young people in the 50s and how they continue to drag their feelings 40 years later.

Premieres on Netflix

Waiting for titles of the level of 1899 either The Crown, our proposal for this weekend is a much lighter series on a dramatic level but for many the same or even more fun. We refer to the second season of Enola Holmes, who will again be involved in the investigation of a case that is also connected to another investigated by his well-known brother Sherlock. Again Millie Bobby Brown puts herself in the skin of the protagonist to give her that fresh and know-it-all air so typical of the actress, while the great British detective falls on the shoulders of the man of the week after leaving The Witcher: Henry Cavill . The good time is guaranteed.

What premieres to watch on HBO Max

We no longer have a new episode of The House of the Dragon to recommend you and Do not worry dear does not arrive in the catalog until the 7th, so our commitment to Warner’s content service is for The Head. It is a thriller that has already premiered on Orange and Disney + but that HBO has now obtained for its catalog, with the good news that its second season will also have it and will arrive in December. Created by Álex and David Pastor, it has a fairly varied and international cast where we find none other than Álvaro Morte (The Professor in Netflix’s successful Money Heist).

As for the story, we will go to a station in the South Pole where a group of scientists from different countries work to keep the base in operation during the 6 months that the polar night lasts. However, in the middle of winter, the station stops communicating with the outside world, so a new group will have to go there to check what has happened. What they will find will leave them speechless.
