What you should know about WWDC 2023

The WWDC of this 2023 already has an official date. And in this post we are going to review the keys to this event. Although there are things that are already a tradition every year, Apple may have saved an ace (or more) up its sleeve this time. So if you want to know the keys to this event, here we are going to make a summary of “the hottest”.

The most important of WWDC 2023

Looking ahead to this 2023, the WWDC will be held again through the internet. Since 2020, the global developer conference has been held virtually. However, on June 5 there will be a special event and live from Apple Park. Similar to what was done last year, there will be a viewing of the recorded Keynote, but from within Apple Park. This year, WWDC 2023 will be held from June 5 to 9, and it will be completely free for all those developers who want to participate in the event. The event’s own keynote can be followed live from Apple’s own website.

One of the biggest components of the presentations of this event is the hardware. It is already a tradition that, every year, Apple presents the new software that will reach the entire ecosystem. This year the new versions of the operating systems that Apple currently has running are expected to be presented: iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS will have news, so we hope to see iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 9, and tvOS 17.

And although the software is a very important part, the hardware has been very relevant in some previous years. One of the rumors that sounds very strong is that Apple would be about to present, right at that same developer conference, a virtual or mixed reality viewer, which has become very relevant in recent months. Also, in terms of hardware, the rumored 15-inch MacBook Air is expected to be introduced.
