Xiaomi has just lifted the veil on its new Redmi Note 11 series. As in the previous year, four smartphones were presented, the Redmi Note 11, the Redmi Note 11S, the Redmi Note 11 Pro as well as the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
With its new Redmi Note 11, Xiaomi wants again reign supreme in the mid-range smartphone market thanks to affordable devices with a very interesting price-performance ratio. Without being revolutionary compared to the Redmi Note 10 of 2021, these still bring welcome improvements, as well as a new design with flat edges.
All models of Redmi Note 11 are equipped with stereo speakersof a fingerprint sensor on the edge and retain a jack, yet gradually abandoned by the competition. Good news for those who often run out of storage, this can be expanded with a micro SD card up to 1 TB. The smartphones are also the first to ship with the new MIUI 13 overlay, which was introduced in China alongside the Xiaomi 12. However, unlike high-end smartphones, this is unfortunately still based on Android 11not on Android 12.

The Redmi Note 11, the most affordable smartphone in the series
In this new series, we first find the classic Redmi Note 11, which is the smartphone the cheapest of the four models. This one had been completely unveiled by a retailer before its launch. It is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processorwhich does not promise a significant improvement over the Snapdragon 678 of the Redmi Note 10 of 2021. On the front we find a 6.43-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Redmi Note 11 is powered by a 5000mAh battery compatible with the 33W wired fast charging Pro. On the photo side, the smartphone relies on a four-sensor configuration, with a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 13 MP depth sensor. The selfie part is managed by a 13 MP sensor. It is offered in three different colors: Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue and Star Blue.
The Redmi Note 11S, a more powerful smartphone with a 108 MP photo sensor
The Redmi Note 11S is not radically different from its little brother, but offers a slightly more powerful MediaTek Helio G96 processor. We always find the same 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a frequency 90Hza battery of 5000mAh and the fast charging 33W Pro.
Nevertheless, the smartphone is equipped with a 108 MP Samsung HM2 main photo sensor, the same as on the recent Xiaomi 11T Pro. It is still supported by an 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera goes to 16 MP. Three colors are also available: Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue and Pearl White.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro adopts 67 W fast charging and a 120 Hz screen
The Redmi Note 11 Pro is also powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processorbut this time it is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with refresh rate 120Hz. The latter promises to be brighter with a peak brightness of 1200 nits, more contrast (4,500,000:1) and better protected thanks to glass Gorilla Glass 5.
The smartphone is always powered by a 5000mAh batterybut sees the power of fast charging double to reach 67W, a first in the Redmi Note range. The photo part is ensured by a configuration with four cameras, with a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. At the front, there is a 16 MP sensor. Three colors are available: Graphite Gray, Polar White and Star Blue.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, the only 5G smartphone of the bunch
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the most premium smartphone in the series. As the name suggests, this is the only model compatible with the network 5G thanks to his Snapdragon 695 processor. The rest of the spec sheet is nearly identical to the previous model. We find 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with refresh rate 120Hz and the 5000mAh battery compatible with the 67W fast charging.
However, on the photo side, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G relies on a three-camera configuration, with a 108 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor. The shots at the front are also provided by a 16 MP sensor. The colors are different from the Redmi Note 11 Pro: Graphite Gray, Polar White and Atlantic Blue.
